Monitor connectivity query.

Was looking around for 4k Monitors, I saw one's input said: DVI-D (with HDCP)x 1

Is the DVI-D and HDCP a seperate connection? I have a dvi dl currently, and can grab a display port (60hz monitor) if need be.

Never came across HDCP so forgive the newbie question.

Hdcp is copy protection, a monitor needs to have it enabled to allow you to play legit DVD's and blurays, that comment means that it has hdcp on the DVI port as well as the hdmi port, lots have it only on hdmi
