As I said in my other thread my monitor just conked out: it just flickers on and off in intervals of about 2". I've tried hooking up to my laptop and it made no difference, so I know it's not my video card or anything like that.
I'm 99.9% certain that it can't be fixed, as it's been a problem that's been brewing for awhile: for the past several months, it's been having this problem for the first few seconds after I would switch it on (ie. instead of switching on instantly, it would flicker on-and-off for a few seconds first) so I figured its power supply must be going. However, I couldn't let this go without making absolutely sure, so I'm posting to ask if anyone can thing of anything I can try to get it working again! I'm not gonna try anything difficult/complicated, and basically if nobody posts a suggestion that works by noon tomorrow I'm going straight out to buy another one - as I said I've been expecting it, so I'm not too bothered, just figured it's worth a try!
