Hello guys,

I recently bought a Dell U3415W 21:9 Ultrawide, the light bleed was terrible so had it replaced, the replacement was just as bad so having lost faith in this model now I am looking at other options...

My rig is powered by a 4790K and SLI EVGA GTX 980 SC's so have the horsepower to drive something decent...

Having looked and looked and looked I have come up with 3 models that interest me:

Philips BDM4065UC
Asus ROG Swift PG278Q
Acer XB280HK

Really would be interested to hear any views on these or recommendations for something else, I want something fairly large as I moved away from a triple 23" setup so have a fair amount of desk space.

What would you guys do? :)

R.

Any reason why you aren't interested in the Samsung 34" ultrawide? Only ask as you have tried out the Dell equivalent and the bleed was an issue - the Samsung doesn't suffer from backlight bleed anywhere near as much (some don't even have any).

Purely because I had a massive falling out with Samsung, on principal I now refuse to buy their products.

What about the new 27" g sync 144hz ips acer predator, good reviews but pricey.

Wasn't aware of that one, thank you I will go take a look now :)
