Monitor Dilemma!

Now the biggest dilemma i'm facing is choosing between two monitors...

Benq G2420HDBL 24'' LED Backlit - £150

5ms, DVI and Analogue, LED backlit

OR

Samsung SyncMaster P2450H - £180

2ms, HDMI DVI and Analogue, NOT LED backlit

Both do 1080p and 24''

I'm falling with the Sammy because of the brand and the design, 2ms rate and HDMI slot.

The biggest come back of the Benq is LED Backlit.

Is LED backlit cracked up to be that good or just a marketing point?

LED backlit screens was only made to give laptops longer battery life at first, the contrast will be better but not much as its still true 1000:1 like most other monitors.

don't confuse LED backlit with OLED true LED screens are far superior and cost 10 times more.

The Samsung P2450H is a very sexy monitor but for a bit more money you can get a much better rez at £200 from the Samsung 2433BW 1920x1200

The thing is i am not very fond of the 1920x1200 rez.

How is the difference in picture quality of the two monitors though?
