I have two monitors and when I use extended monitors mode, one of my monitors shows a flickering and distorted picture.
It does not happen if I use duplicate these displays.
I cannot use catalyst control center as when I open it, it closes automatically and wont let me use it. I have tried installing catalyst 13.1, 13.9 and I am now using 13.11 but its the same with all the drivers.
The monitor that is showing flickering is connected using a hdmi to dvi cable with hdmi going into the monitor and dvi into the graphics card. The monitor that is fine is using a hdmi cable. I do not have another hdmi cable so I can not test to see if its the cable thats the problem, although like I said there is no issue when I use duplicate these displays mode.
The refresh rates are the same on both monitors, 60hz.
I have a 6870 1gb and windows 7 64 bit/service pack 1.
