monitor driver for AW3423DW, needed?

Do we need drivers for widescreen monitors?

I have the OLED AW3423DW and it was plug n play, somehow I started getting update driver everytime I switch on my PC

Its for the

Alienware Command centre
Alienware Command Centre Package Manager

Ive uninstalled both programmes then did a search and found in my download folder 10x 1GB Alienware package manager folders

Deleted that too, but do we really need drivers for high end monitors?

I think for the DW (any OLED monitor), it's probably helpful to have the proper ICC and/or driver for them. I know the F has one and I've got that installed instead of the PnP default.
