I have a 19" Widescreen Acer monitor, and it will turn on when I boot up my pc, or turn it on by the power, the power light will remain on, but the screen will go black after about 3 seconds without fail. After a bit of googling, it says it's most likely a backlight issue, or a capacitor issue. How much is it likely to cost to fix such an issue, or should I say, how much SHOULD it cost (baring in mind I'll be taking it to the high-street).
PS, if there's anyone who knows exactly what the problem is, would it be possible to fix myself?
