Monitor Flickering out of Stand By

When computer is woken up from an extended period of standby I get flickering, see video link below.

If I reconnect the cable it cures the issue.

Dell U3415W monitor, 3440x1440@60hz
Gigabyte Windforce 980ti, not overclocked beyond factory OC, latest drivers
DisplayPort to MDP cable
DP 1.2 enabled in monitor OSD, tried it on 1.1 and well I saw a flicker in normal windows, so went back to 1.2

Could be a cable issue did you try it with another DP cable ?
