Hey guys, a friend is looking for the best monitor he can get with just £400 to spend. He is an Nvidia user. I obviously tried talking him into saving and getting one of the Rog Swifts but he's reluctant to spend any more. What is the best for the price range? Would have to be 144 hertz and he would prefare 1440p.

Well, it's just you made it sound like he is a Nvidia user and will only be a Nvidia user. I really would try to persuade him to get a Gsync monitor. To spend £400 on a gaming monitor and not get Gsync would be terrible. The Sync technologies really do make a huge difference to gaming. It's hard to describe. Everything is so smooth no more tearing or anything from Frame rate spikes and dips.

Dell S2716DG. The deal that was posted on hotukdeals was probably a one off but was a cracking price nevertheless.

However that monitor is available still at just under your friends budget. ;)

I know mate I have shown him my Rog Swift and he loves it, but he's always been difficult to get spending money haha.

Will have a look at the dell too for him, thanks Twirly.
