Not sure if you guys can help me, I'm after a 18 or 19", 4:3 LCD aspect ratio monitor with a decent viewing angle.

It's not for a standard upright it's for a sitdown "cocktail" cabinet.

I don't really want to go the CRT route, as I wanted to save space and was looking to pay no more than say 200 quid.

Does anyone know of anything that would suit my needs?

probably be able to pick one up on the members market if there are none on overclockers

I want a brand new one ideally, it's the viewing angle more than anything I'm bothered about.

I've read about a trick of mounting them upside down but not sure if that definately works.

Edit - I believe an MVA panel would be what I need?

VA or IPS, however my old syncmaster 19" 5:4 has great viewing angles and I've found nothing to suggest it isnt a TN panel

you might struggle to find a new one of that spec, but check out dells range of monitors.. - ive had a look and i dont see any VA/IPS at that size/ratio.. you could always have a look at the indepth specs though to see if the viewing angles would still be ok..

Yup think your right there, cheers for looking also. I had a good look around and there is literally nothing at that size with that panel technology.

The Syncmaster could be an option, but I'm not sure if the 5:4 ratio makes a difference in what I'm using it for - will look into it.
