Monitor for console gaming

Hi all,
2 years ago you guys helped me to choose a monitor for gaming ended up with a 27" BenQ which has been fantastic. Now it's time again for a change and would appreciate some more top advise due to monitors moving on so much !

At the moment using a xbox 360, soon to change to an xbox one.
Looking for a 27" monitor with hdmi
Any thoughts would be great.

What is wrong with your current monitor?

It's just that for console gaming only, I can't imagine there is much point in moving to something else if it's got the connections needed.

eyetrip - I like to update every couple of years with new tech.

Peahead - Looks like an updated version of the GW2750hm which I have. Thanks for that.
 
To be honest any 27" monitor you buy now probably won't be much better than the one you own already if it's currently 1080p!

A monitor should last longer than 2 years! Put the money towards buying a better video card for your PC!

See, the things is, you aren't really...

Nobodies trying to be difficult in here, but if its just for console gaming, then you have pretty much nothing to gain by getting another monitor.

If you were gaming on PC, it would be a different story.

Think the only way you will "gain" anything is by going for a larger 1080p tele.
