Monitor for FPS gaming

I refuse to believe that I'm just bad at games. It can't be this! In fact, it must be my terrible old Dell monitor.

So, what monitor would be useful for fast fps gaming (CSGO mainly)? Also watching films, so something bigger than 24 might be nice.

Is the philips 40" 4K any good or should I be looking for a 120hz screen +

I know you can never wait for technology, but is now the best time to buy?

144hz monitor definitely if you play FPS.

144hz is nice, it's not going to improve your game though

I prefer IPS panels over 144hz, I'd be more concerned about input lag for FPS games. You can get both but a hefty price tag!

You refuse to believe you are bad at games ,ITS NOT YOU FAULT! its not your fault! sorry i had to good will hunting you anyway i would also suggest a 1440p monitor for fps but yes i have heard good things about that phillips monitor however its not a full 4:4:4 monitor its a 4:4:1 i think i read but ye haha good luck

I can highly recommend 144hz + Gsync.
So buttery smooth all the time, makes a poor game like bf4 worth playing, and you kill everything.

Not sure where the freesync tech is at the moment
Id stay away from 4k unless you have a gazillion gpu's, and dont care about 60hz still
