I'm looking to upgrade my monitor from a 29" ultrawide screen.

I use my PC for watching films from my sofa with the occasional game.

I think a 40-43" will be big enough. My budget is about £400.

Thanks,
Matthew

This top one I think is the replacement for the one beneath that but more than your budget...

I can't see any difference between these so the out going model at the bottom is probably the best value, both only 60Hz but you didn't say whether the occasional game was serious FPS type titles or not.

LG 43UN700

EDIT:
Actually this Acer on Pre-Order would be even better value.

I don't think I'm into serious gaming anymore. The only games I seem to play lately are Fall Guys and RDR2. Thank you for the recommendations. It's a shame the Acer isn't out yet. I can't find its release date.

The monitor and graphics card both have HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.4. Technically both are capable of 4K @ 60Hz but this is the highest HDMI 2.0 is spec'd for whereas DP 1.4 can do 4K @ 120Hz if both the graphics card and monitor are capable, which in this case they are not but you won't be relying on a cable standard at the peak of it's standard if you choose DP. Therefore I would go with a quality DP 1.4 cable that is listed as 8K capable or 4K @ 120/144Hz.

Okay, thank you very much for your help.
