Hi Guys,

I got myself the MSI Titan GTX 1070 a little while back now, I got it due to the fact that I am in the military and find myself moving around. However currently I am on base and feeling like getting new monitor but ensure of what it will be like? How to do it? and if there will be any issues.
I have Thunderbolt with the Laptop but not sure if this is the input to use over DVI or Display port.

Any advice or help would be great, especially from those that have experience in this.

Thanks,
Tom

You can effecitvely plug any monitor into the laptop and it will just work in terms of giving you a display output. However, from a logistical point of view you might need an external keyboard and mouse as well if you don't already have them, otherwise you would need your laptop in front of the monitor with it's lid open to usse it's keyboard which would be rather awkward.

What display outputs does your laptop actually have? There aren't to many thunderbolt monitors out there and it will probably be cheaper to use an adaptor if that's all you have.

What budget do you have for a monitor and whist size do you want as well?
