Hi,

Ok my brother has decided he wants a new screen and has said he wants the Dell 20" widescreen for his birthday. My reply to that is LOL no way. So looking at the 19" widescreens instead.

Now I have seen the OCUK 19" screen on this weeks special and for that price it seems like the perfect choice. Is it? Or are there other screens to consider?

Thanks

Just to say that at under £300, the Dell is an absolute friggin steal at that price!

It had been over £400 for months.

Not only that, but a quick look around the forums will show that users of the Dell think it's an excellent choice!

Why would he spend 300 quid on a monitor when he already said he's looking at a monitor which costs around 150 quid, and is a more reasonable price range?

well mate the ocuk hanns g hw191dp is great for the price.no ghoasting well very very little just gets a little blurred on fast moving objects eg text scrorrling fast but then for £151inc vat and del its the mutts mate go for it.

im useing it via dvi not sure if it made any diff tho as ive tryed both inputs but there u go :D

Damn there's a lot of flaming going around, heat must be making people edgy.

I was simply trying to help. Where did he say he was "looking at a monitor which costs around 150 quid"?

You thought my post was a flame? I don't need to flame you.

Hey D Roberts, get the Apple 30" display. It's really good.
