Monitor for my Son

Hi,

My son has asked for a new monitor for Xmas. He has a PS5 and currently has a rubbish cheap TV so anything will be an improvement.

Budget is around £200-250. And I think something that can do 1440 and 120hz will be good. Also looking at around 27 or 32”

At this price point would it be best to get a VA or IPS screen?

Is there anything to keep away from? Or is there something I should look out for?

While VA monitors are better than they used to be, I'd absolutely be looking at IPS.
