Well my 22" belinea appears to be on the way out.

I am after something similar size (22-24) for around £150 to £200 to be used with my pc (so dvi) and possibly with an xbox 360 i am also looking at buying (hmdi).

Anyone got any suggestions?

My pc graphics card isn't anything amazing (Asus ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI/HDMI (PCI-Express) - Retail), possibly buying a new one with the next upgrade.

Have a look around for a Samsung T240, make sure its the one with 1920x1200 though, it has VGA,DVI & HDMI and a 3.5mm for speakers :)

If your Belinea was like mine was its aspect ratio will have been different to the most common sizes that are on offer today. So you have to go for at least 24 inch you will be dissapointed with a 22, sure it will be a little wider but it will be smaller vertically, it will do your head in.

Hell, even a 24inch replacement wont feel like that much of an upgrade.

Push the boat out and get a 27inch. Seriously.

Can you link me to it please? Can't seem find it. :S

27inch will be way too big for me considering i'll be sat 6 inches from it most of the time.

I am only looking at a new monitor as mine is starting to die (getting darker and darker). Size upgrade ins't what i am after but i think 23inch would be ok (i spend most of my time on a 15inch laptop recently).

Well, mark my words about aspect ratio, genuinely you will be unhappy with anything less than 24 inch, what aspect ratio is your old belinea?

Yeah that's 16:10, and you will probably end up with a 16:9.

Going from 22'' 16:10 to 24'' 16:9 will be a slight upgrade but its the same as your old 22'' only a but wider.

Going from 22'' 16:10 to 22" 16:9 would be a downgrade imho, even to 23''. So go 24'' min. :)

i have a b2409hds which is the buisness (prem version w/e) of the above iiyama nearly the same click here

i play xbox and pc on it , i have dvi for pc and use hdmi for xbox , i plug external speakers into the headphone socket of the monitor using the supplied phono externder cord w/e its called that u get with the monitor and insert it into the input of my speakers Click Here which is the right hole beside the earphone socket in the pic this way u can use the speakers for both pc and xbox , just plug the input wire into the speakers when u want to play xbox etc it works fine

had it for few years this way , its ok i guess

Think i will just bite the bullet and buy the Acer S240HLBID from the rainforest, see how that goes.
