I like the look of these two
VP2780-4K OR BenQ SW2700PT 27" Color Accurate Monitor for Photography

how many issues will i have with the 4k monitor when using editing programs and the sizing i know these are not the best ie eizo and nec but a least they offer near 100% srgb and are 10 bit monitors so hopefully i can match my images to print ,although my color munki is not supported by the viewsonic for profiling and the benq is a couple of hundred cheaper ?
 
No i do not own a quadro card only a 970 Nvidia most of my software is adobe based i have years free use of adobe cc and i own edius 8 workshop as well as some others.
Yes i have a dell at the moment but only 1080 and i am still thinking that 4k screens are overkill even more so on 27 inch monitors and my 4k video always gets down scaled to 1080 and qhd are not that far away from 4k
Probably will stick with dell now you have pointed out some issues
