Hi I am looking for monitor options that are good for public display, will be wall mounting them so will have to be VESA complaint.

Will consider sizes 19" to 22", what I am really after is the best TN Panel with the greatest viewing angle, there is so much to look through does anybody know any off the top of their heads?

Thanks

Well no budget keeping in line with using TN panels in that range (19-22"), if an IPS panel or something will be of great advantage I could up it.

Any recommendations will be received gratefully since I still have to present it.

This monitor is a pretty amazing price at the moment. It is a 22in, TN panel and VESA compliant.

It is not full HD - but i'm sure 1680x1050 will be plenty for public display purposes. In my own opinion, without the stand it will look pretty stylish.

On the IPS front, most IPS monitor will have much better viewing angles than TN monitors. You may want to have a look at this video, it compares a Dell 2209WA to a Samsung TN monitor. In my opinion - something like a 2209WA would look much better for a public display than a TN (as you can happily look at it from many angles), but I guess I'm not paying the bill.

Here is the product page for the Dell 2209WA. Again this monitor is 22in 1680x1050 resolution and it is VESA compatible.

What will the exact use be for the public display monitor? How far will people be when viewing it? What will the lighting conditions be like? You have to consider not only viewing angles but also the brightness of the display.

Sooooo, just heard back from them and they want 15" 4:3 monitors, I don't know why it doesn't seem rational, but hey give them what they ask for..

That Dell 2209WA look the Biz as well.

You could have a think about the AG Neovo X 15AV, in that case. It's extremely bright and also rather attractive - it is designed as a small public display screen.
