Monitor for Under £350

Hey,

Im planning on ordering a new monitor from OCers over the next few days and was wondering which one to actualy get lol. i am quite liking the G24 at the moment but i also quite like the Dell 2408WFP 24 which is at the VERY TOP of my budget.

The G24 is on offer this week so is now only £270 which is great lol

as it means i can waste my money oon other things, like a life

<- so i might edge towards that one.

Im looking for a 24" 1920 x 1200 resolution for Gaming, HD Films and general other stuff like AutoCAD, PhotoSHOP etc etc.

Can anybody think of a decent monitor that i may have overlooked?

Any comments will be appreciated

don't be suprised to have some backlight bleeding from the G24 though

It's finally dropping to the price it should have been in the first place. £350+ is way overpriced for what you actually get.

have ordered a blue Acer G24, no delivery available for 2moro =( so its being delivered monday

i'll let u guys know what i think and how shocked i am to go from a 1280 x 1024 19" monitor to a 24" 1920 x 1200 one

WOW 28" must be huuuuge. u must have to move ur head to see the whole screen

i will make a post about how it looks, bleed situation, hissing and whether my 4850 512mb gfx can handle it at full res

How bad is the backlight problem, that’s just put me doo that a little now

The blue is a really really nice colour, not too in your face. No hissing at all. Backlight bleed is only really visible on boot, apart from that its fine.

I cant get over the size difference from 19" to 24" lol.

Playing Cod5 at Full Res and AAx4 on my small 512mb 4850 Gfx Card and it seems Cool. still might get either a 4870x2 or just a standard 4870 gb... jsut for fun
