Monitor for xbox 360 help

Hi Folks,

I am looking to buy an xbox 260 but need a screen for it too. SInce I am on a budget I am looking to get a monitor for it. I half decided to get a 22" widescreen for it (being with in my price range) but having looked at them they seem quite narrow. I'm not sure if they would effect the quality of games? Would I be better getting a 20" 4:3 monitor for it instead of the 22" 16:10?

Does any one have any experience of this, if so what did you do?

More games are being released in widescreen format for the Xbox 360.
On a 4:3 it annoys when they are in widescreen only.
I'm going to get an Asus 22" once they've sorted out the ghosting issues.
A couple of friends run their Xbox 360's via widescreen TV's and the games that support widescreen looked so much nicer than on my 4:3 Viewsonic tft.

Personally, if you have a monitor you can use for now, I'd wait and see if Asus do fix the issue.
At work yesterday, I spoke to the account manager for Asus main UK distributor yesterday and he couldn't give me a due date for the next batch of these monitors
I suspect Asus have delayed further shipments for the time being.

I've played with 2 of the Asus at work and they were very impressive.

I use a Dell 2007WFP (20" WS) with my 360 and it looks great.
