Hi all,

I've been toying with the idea of getting a 4K gaming monitor for my Xbox One X.

I currently game on my 55" 4k HDR10 TV but when playing games like PUBG, I find myself sitting right on top of it in order to see what I'm shooting at. Then of course you've got to move your entire head to see from one side of the screen to the other. As gorgeous as it looks, I feel it's too big for FPS games.

My budget is around £300 mark which I guess puts HDR out of the question, some freesync would be nice though as it's been announced Xbox will support this soon.

Any recommendations?

Must be that extra 10", my girlfriend always tells me size matters.

Yea, the eyes are fine, had laser vision about 10 years go, still got 20/20 vision according to the opticians.

Thinking about it, it might be how I'm sitting, I'm on a beanbag with the TV on a stand looking up at the TV.

Could be, I wheel my office chair in front of it for PUGB and my eyes are level with the centre of the screen

Single player games I tend to sit on my couch which is about 10ft away.

Same, most games I can happily play from the sofa but the likes of PUBG requires you to be more accurate and to be able to spot other players quick.
