Afternoon all.

The wife and I are due to move into our new house shortly, and in order to creat more space in the living room I intend to have my PC, 360 and PS3 all stored together. Now, as a result I will need a screen that I can use for my PC monitor, and also to play my 360 and PS3 on to save carting those to the living room whenever I wish to play.

Will any of the following 4 do, and if so, which would come with the best recommendation? Alternatively, what would you suggest?

Samsung SM-223BW 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor
Samsung SM-2032MW Pebble 20" HD Ready Widescreen LCD
Samsung SM-226BW 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor
Dell E228WFP 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor

Many thanks, and the help is appreciated.

AFAIK the E228WFP cannot play the PS3 or Xbox. I was planning on getting that monitor for that exact reason, but found out it doesen't work very well with them.

I think 22" monitors are a few pixels short of 1080p, but I may be wrong. I would rather get a 24" monitor for the higher resolution.

Ive been looking atthe exact same monitors. I cannot tell the differences between the samsungs other then one has a 5ms responce time. The pebble one looks the best physicaly though.

I think a 24" is best for playing consoles as they are made to be palyed on a bigger screens. But i have a friend who does it on a Ben q 20" so i know it doesn't have to be 24".

Thanks for the replies guys. I am leaning closer towards the pebble if I am honest as it looks the best out of the 4. I see what your saying about the 24" monitors, so will see if I can stretch that far.

I'd get a new Dell 2407, they're just lovely.

I have an older revision and it's still brilliant despite all it's early flaws. They've all been cleared up now though so the new models are excellent.

A tn film screen may become a problem if someones sitting off to one side or below maybe on the floor and trying to play the picture on most tn film screens is quite bad when viewed from below.
Getting a 24" non tnfilm panel is sage advice.
