Monitor gender changers

Is there such a thing as a DVI male to VGA male gender changer available?

Cant seem to find one, only male to female or vice versa

Im confused as to what you want.

the only think I can think of is you need a long DVI to VGA cable so you are plugging this adaptor in to make it the combined lenght of your DVI cable and VGA cable and convert from DVI to VGA at the same time? :confused:

What are you trying to achieve?

i'm giving my dad my old xerox 19" monitor and it has a DVI cable plugged in the back which you are unable to remove, his old computer only has a vga input again a female connection, so i need a gender changer that is able to solve that problem.

I think that Belkin part CC5003aed will do what you want.

It's worth checking that your monitor will actually accept an analogue signal.
