Monitor/gnu compatability?

Currently running an 8800 gts 640 on a Dell 2007 at 1600x1200

This is more than happy and tbh it doesn't seem a bad match


I'm hinking about going for a 24" monitor and going dual screen


Couple if questions though

Will my 8800 support dual screens

And am I missing anything else?


I'll be upgrading my gfx card as well in the near future (onvr the new amd cards launch and prices settle)

8800 should support dual screen assuming you are using a mainstream OS?

There's not really any compatibility issues in terms of monitors assuming you have the right ports. Its all pretty much plug and play
