Monitor & GPU for Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom

A friend of mine has turned freelancer photographer. She is currently on a an old, Sandy Bridge i5 system, with 16GB of RAM and an SSD for OS and programs so the PC while old performs decently. Her current monitor though is a 22", 1080p TN monitor, which is also 7+ years old. The GPU is also old(Radeon 6770 1GB).

I convinced her that the next thing she should upgrade is her monitor. The budget is around £700-800 for the monitor. After some research l am leaning towards the Acer ProDesigner PE320QK Prosumer monitor. Anything better at this price range? As for the GPU l was thinking a Radeon 560 4GB or Nvidia 1050 Ti should do the trick. From what l have read she shouldn't need a more powerful GPU, or should a hump to a faster card offer tangible benefits?

I’d prioritise a new CPU over a GPU - it will help a lot with processing images.

If budget wasn't an issue she would be getting a new pc tower along with the new monitor. I recommended her getting a new monitor since her current one is an old gaming 1080p TN panel. The new GPU is required in some extend for driving the 4K screen at 60Hz via DP, the Radeon 6770 lacks. Adobe also recommends 2GB or more VRAM for such resolutions. The Acer ProDesigner comes factory calibrated which was one of the reasons l am eyeing that monitor.
