Monitor Help! as usual

Hi Guys,

i currently have a AOC Q2778VQE, and a really old ****** samsung tv as my 2nd monitor which i want to replace.

i was looking at the Acer Predator XB271HUA -as its 2560x1140 same as my normal monitor, but was wondering is this really worth the price? or shall i just buy a cheaper one if you have any suggestions?

First of all, remove the competitor link, not allowed here.

What GPU you have? If you have an Nvidia card, G-Sync can certainly be worth it depending what games you play. TN isn't the best panel tech... it has the worst colours and viewing angles, but if you ONLY play games then it should be fine, and even though you're coming from TN, almost certainly a better quality version of it than what you're used to.

thanks for the reply, i have a 1070 GPU atm, i dont do much apart from playing games lol.

G-Sync is good to have. It is expensive though, but that's probably about as cheap as you'll find a decent 27" 1440p G-Sync monitor. That's a good size and resolution to be at, you'll enjoy it.
