Monitor Help Please (dual screen)

Hey,

I got myself a lovely Samsung 26" TV, HD Ready. I have it plugged into my GFX Card via vga - vga and i am currently using it right now as my main desktop.

All good

However; i have a HP 19" Widescreen as my second monitor and i need a way to fix something.

One thing is the desktop on the 19" is the same size yet the wallpaper has gone smaller so i have a white 'frame' so to speak and it dont look too good. How can i make the monitor just show the wallpaper as normal?

Apart from that, all is good and i am very impressed. Do you know any cool dual screen software that i may gain from having? Or do i not need anything?

So why have you put this in memory?

Will also let you have different wallpapers per monitor & some other useful bits and bobs.

Hi,

I just instaklled that just now. The only difference it has made is that on my samsung 26" an added taskbar as been placed above my start button task bar with the windows there instead?

Drag that new taskbar to the 2nd monitor - each monitor then has its own taskbar

Yup, also have a poke in the right-click menu of the taskbar icon- Wallpaper settings are in there, as well as the other useful bits.

heya,

one last thing ok, i click identify monitors and my main one (which should really be number one) is number two.

i cant for the life of me change them round...i know it must be something so simple? any help appreciated

i should add;

monitor two (which i want as one) is vga

monitor one (which i want as two) is dvi

Right-click on the Ultramon tray icon again, and head into Display Settings.
Drag the monitor icons to opposite sides & your monitors should be as you want them. You also want to check the 'Primary' box for your main monitor, as apps will then open by default on this one.
