Monitor help

I've got a 22" widescreen LG and a 19" normal Gateway monitor.

need some help setting them to both run at the same time.

i can get the desktop spread over both screens but can't set the right resolutions for each.

What OS?

What Graphics Card?

You should be able to set different res for each monitor.

The 22" TFT refresh rate should be set @ 60 Mhz and the CRT(I Assume that's what the normal one is) as high as you can 85 Mhz is a good setting.

both are TFTs

xp operating system and it's just a ASUS EN8500GT 1 GB

I guess you should remove the current graphic drivers, install the newest ones.

Then set up the Primary Monitor correctly before turning on extended desktop. Then set the 2nd monitor correctly.

Note, if you play some games in full screen mode the 2nd screen may change res while you are playing the game.
