Good Evening All,

I am in the process of building a Gaming PC and I need to buy a good monitor to go with my system.

PC Specs: 7800X3D paired with a RX 7900 XTX

Theres so many options out there but I don't know what will be best paired with my system to maximise FPS whilst playing Call of Duty Warzone at 1440p.

Can anyone recommend a monitor?

I was considering the Samsung G8 OLED (£849 on ****** at the moment) or the MSI MEG 342C but not sure about the size and screen burn.

Don't know whether I am better going for 2x 27 inch or 32 inch. If I do go for the smaller screens do I opt for IPS or VA?

Well I do like a good bargain but I would say in the region of £400 - £500 but could stretch slightly for a good monitor
I prefer to recommend OLED almost always,

but these are mid range - Asus VG27AQ or LG 27" 27GP850P-B 165hz isn't fast enough tell me. Alternative make sure you get an ips black monitor so you have a higher contrast ratio if that matters to you (spending more than the mid range though) Otherwise stick to the mid range at 1440p and actually get some better value for your money (Being able to get 2 monitors just £100 over budget if you get the same one again, or a much cheaper 2nd monitor)

If you're looking to pay more for a single monitor

then I'd just recommend stretching your budget to the Alienware AW2725DF (£779 but cheaper if you get a 5% discount code or look elsewhere perhaps for 2nd hand or returned models with their 3 year warranty still in place)

I just saw you'd like two monitors so my 1st recommendation is probably better, and keeps you in budget even for a 2nd screen, but if you want say 240hz then just get a higher quality ips/va panel than I recommended.

The MSI 27" G274QPX can be found for £350 at the moment and seems to be a decent 240Hz IPS for that price and has decent contrast for IPS. Though I would be tempted to go for an OLED if stretching the budget. Such as the one above!

If you're interested in HDR it's worth bearing in mind that some of the 34" monitors using the 1st gen QD-OLED panel aren't very accurate when using an AMD GPU in the HDR1000 mode. I know the Alienware DWF is pretty good in that regard after the firmware update last year, and I believe the 27" 360Hz is fine too IIRC. Check Hardware Unboxed reviews as I'm sure they mention it in most of their reviews.
