I hope you all had a good Christmas!
There is very likely an obvious answer to this monitor problem. I am clutching at straws in the vain hope it may be fixable.
While using my AOC 32'' gaming monitor this morning the screen suddenly went green with wide vertical yellow lines running down the center of the screen.
Luckily I have another monitor running OK from the same graphics card so I am assuming the graphics card is not the problem. I have updated the drivers to no avail. I have tried powering it back on without the display lead connected and the issue is still the same - green background and the vertical yellow stripes. The stripes disappears after a few seconds and I am left with a fuzzy green background.
I have tried getting the basic menu on screen from the monitor controls. It is hardly visible.
So, would I be right in assuming the monitor is buggered? I have had it just over 4 years and it has had a lot of use.
