Monitor issue

My monitor has diagonal lines running across the length of the monitor.

At low res they are thick and far apart.
At high res they are smaller and closer, harder to see also.
Whe you move a window they flicker more.
They appear to be moving vertically.

Any ideas, the driver is a generic MS one and only gives 60Hz option.
Cant find a DGM driver, and there tech support ignore me (will never buy DGM again just for that reason)...anyone have any ideas.

I am using VGA, on monday will be installing a new GPU and switching to DVI.

Sounds like your GPU has artifacts and is not your monitor.
VGA or DVI doesn't really matter.

If the cables are in correctly and the port/connections are nice and secure then it's definitely your graphics. Replacing the card as you stated should fix the problem.

Probably just the monitor, I'm about to begin the difficult process of getting it replaced as mine is still under guarantee

Ive had mine a year and 2 months, I take it digimate only give a standard 1 years warranty on electrical goods.

No, 3 years, however the service they provide is useless, they cant repair the fault, and won't admit to it, so the best you can do is ask for a replacement 23" tn panel, but better than nothing, check that link above for more info
