Monitor issue

Can anyone tell me if this looks like an issue with the innards of the monitor or would I have to be a replace the screen to fix it? It's not a huge issue as it's only really noticeable on white backgrounds but it's be nice to try and fix it.

That's without any DVI cable inserted so I don;t think it's that. Thanks anyway .

Hmm, it seems to fix itself after a couple of hours of being on. Not sure what that means but I'll open 'er up and have a look .
