Right so, last night my monitor was completely fine, nothing wrong with it what so ever, I leave my stuff on overnight all the time, have done for years, I came to my computer this morning and the screen was black, so I thought.. 'okay, that's a bit weird' (the green light indicating it was on, was actually on), so i turned it on and off and when I do that it turns on for like 5 seconds maybe 10 and then shuts off again, like it's in sleep mode, when it actually isn't.
I tried this for a good 10 minutes, same thing was happening over and over and over again.
I thought at first it was the mac? but the same thing was happening on my windows machine also.
The monitor appears to be 'stable' for the time being, but i'm not sure how long this is going to last.
What should I do? I've just gone and bought a new monitor, which came yesterday, I don't really want to buy another one, will if I have too, but >.<
