Well, I experienced a brilliant day yesterday (sarcasm). My computer kept crashing while editing a video in Adobe Premier. I updated the driver for my graphics card (Nvidia Geforce GT220) and it all went downhill from there – monitor switching off/computer crashing so I decided to do a fresh install on Vista. Monitor kept switching off halfway through the install which meant that I couldn't see what was happening so I had to kept restarting. In the end, I disconnected the graphics card and connected my monitor to onboard which worked. I put the graphics card in after this and reconnected the monitor and it kept switching off/crashing again. This is really annoying and still isn't sorted. I checked the Device manager and it appears that there are 2 displays installed so I disabled one which made no difference.
I've tried the monitor via VGA and DVI cable btw, also via HDMI.
Does anyone know how I can fix this or can anyone offer any help? This is really annoying and as I say, it's still not fixed
