I have put this in here as it's a monitor related question

i have the dell u2515h numerous inputs on it currently use with the supplied dp>mdp lead, my question is are there any differences using this lead as opposed to a dp>dp lead.
next are there different quality cables or do they all pretty much have a bog standard apperance quality wise?

cheers

I daisy chained two U2515h with the mini dp cable without issue so it should just be liked a normal 1.2 dp cable. You can enable dp 1.2 in the dell monitor menu.

As for better cables other than buying one thats shielded I doubt it would do much esle. That said I bought a fancy lindy display port cable thats certified and shielded etc for peace of mind and not personally liking the mini dp cables.
