Monitor loses signal during windows boot

Hi

I have a Samsung syncmaster 225bw connected via digital. During boot the monitor displays the no signal message and the signal comes back when the logon screen appears. I didnt think this was a big problem until I ran a scandisk at startup and I had no display during the scan. I had the same thing with my other 19 inch syncmaster too.
Any ideas?

Its something to do with the Nvidia drivers. Some do it, and some don't.
97.02 is what I'm on ATM (Modded INF), and these give me Scandisk display, but 93.71 didn't.

do you have any secondary displays connected to your graphics card such as a t.v.?

No, but in device manager there are 2 monitors listed, the Syncmaster and a 'default monitor'. If I uninstall the default monitor it comes back on reboot.

IMHO, they're pretty stable, & nothings crashed yet, even though they were originally intended for the 8800GTX only. With the version at Guru3D at least, the modded inf isn't in the download- You need to fish it up from the forum thread on them.

I don't pay any attention to 3D Mark, so can't really tell you anything on that front.
