Monitor makes a loud pop? PSU fault?

Good morning all

I picked up a AOC u3477pqu over the weekend. Very nice panel and all that, but after about 3 or 4 minutes the monitor makes a loud pop. Sometimes the panels flicks off and on but not every time.

Any idea's what would cause this? I will most likely box it up and return it but if it is something simple or normal then I will keep it as it has zero back light bleed, it is picture perfect.

I went through 3 of these in a month. Popping psu, very loud pop. Gave up in the end and had my money back.
