monitor making strange sound randomly

hi all i have a samsung syncmaster 2032 BW the last few days it is making stange noises at random times, the best way to describe it is its like the plastic on the back or side of monitor is being pressed hard and you get that sound crackling poping sound cant really decribe it it any better,is my monitor on the way out ?

Is it hot to touch ie hotter than you think it should be (may be expanding and contracting).

yeah it is hot not sure how hot is hot with monitors?

Well only you would know your own monitor as if it suddenly was way hotter when you are near it.

Have you got the backlight up full ?,

sorry to sound thick what is the backlight is that having the screen on full brightness?

Yes and the Tube inside getting to its hottest.

yes i have monitor on full whack brightness would you recommened me to turn brightness ,contrast down a little?

Try turning down Brightness/Contast and see if it stops issue.
