I have 3 * U2711. I am looking for a monitor stand(mount) that could hold these monsters.
Any suggestion?

I reckon you'll likely have to get 3 seperate individual mounts rather than a tri-mount as most multi monitor mounts only go up to 24" screens.

I haven't got mines yet, but I will share what little I have learned: I'm not planning to put large holes in the wall so I want one on the desk, but not to take up space on the desk ....

I'm going to portrait mine, starting with two U2711 at first and getting the third later. so each effectively has a width of 427.83mm which are much less than limits on the following brackets (which are 600mm for each monitor)

I'm planning on using this: (MDM05)

(by default they support 2 x 24" only)

inorder for me to put these my first 'TWO U2711's' into landscape (not that I'm planning to) I need *replacement* long modules, because each can only by <=600mm in width.

mdm0al_bit_nobit.gif

popping out the short arm modules and replacing them with longer modules gives me 660mm clearance, thats approx 13mm to play with, given landscape width of 646.71mm for the U2711

so to cut the babble short

When Im going to landscape 3 U2711, I will probably use

MDM05 + (2 long arms) and MDM04 side by side

see specs here:

do some measuring, its modular so modules can be replace, NOTE: I say replaced and not extended, I wouldn't advise daisy chaining them

reasonably priced TBH. approx £100

and good reviews online

otherwise you may look at solutions from ergotron

but expensive ...

Mount,Tilt, Fold and Rotate, a stand for 3 Desktop Monitors. Reclaim your desktop and significantly increase productivity and work rate with a triple monitor desktop stand.

Any desktop or work environments will really benefit from a deskmount that holds the screen in the correct position to promote good posture and better work rate, add 2,3 or even 4 monitors for the multi tasking amongst you.

With LCD monitors getting cheaper and cheaper why not have 3 using a triple monitor mount! With this mount you can mount 3 monitors on one desktop stand next two each other, increasing both your pc and real desktop space.

Save a huge area of desk space and improve your posture!

These are easy to install and really aid your productivity, very much worth the money.

Can I ask which one? Most of them seem to say 24" or less but I'm fairly confident it's just the weight that's the issue. Looking to eventually put 3 x Asus VE278Q on the desk and individual stands looks like the way forward (or 1 x LX dual and 1 x LX single ?).

Ta.

I've got single LXs for triple display as I wasn't convinced by the dual.

One thing that's bothered me about the dual is potential fouling if your desk is backed up against a wall so I opted for singles which allow for more options.

RE DUAL : A solution that was discussed here (can't find the thread) was to drill the mount onto the desktop instead of edge mounting it

Thought I ought to post a response. Went for individual LX arms and they work brilliantly (although I only have two monitors for now). Highly recommended - useful to have a lower desk footprint but at the same time be able to swing the monitors close, now my 27" really is big :)
