Just purchased the "Titan 8700i Pulse" Gaming PC w/ Sapphire 7870 2gb and i cannot seem to be able to connect it to my new monitor which is the "Acer S240HL". Followed the monitor instructions and all i get is "No Signal". Have tried using both HDMI and the VGA. Any suggestions?

pc boots up ok? have you tried different connectors on the back of the graphics card?

Seems to boot up fine, can hear the fans blowing etc. Just cannot seem to get a signal. I'm a noob when it comes to going into the inside of a computer. I guess it'll be either the Graphics Card, RAM or Motherboard?

You are plugging the monitor into the graphics card rather than the motherboard outputs?

If you are, try connecting to the motherboard VGA out, in case the PCIe card is not connected correctly or the BIOS graphics boot priority is wrong.

you might not have the 4 pin power into the mainboard or the power into the graphics card. alternatively like above the bios is set to onboard.

I'm not the most technical person when it comes to the inside of computers and what connectsw here. I was just hoping that if i bought a pre-built system i would just plug and play, i was wrong. How do i do this?

I was having a blonde moment. Was plugging everything into the motherboard instead of the GFX card, everything is working fine, thanks.
