hey guys, need some help my parents have a dell (can't remember which one) and every know and then, they get the no signal thing on. Usually after some time and a few restarts it will regain the signal and work for the next month or so. then it'll do the same. this time it's not getting the signal back apart from once, when the dell boot screened flashed up.
The monitor and cable appear to be fine on another machine. So what is the likely problem? a dodgy graphics card? anyone had anything similar. I'm assuming it can't be software as you should still get the bios screen.
