Monitor not coming on

Hi all,

I have a problem. I bough an OC bndle a few days ago, I finally fixed everything into my PC case a couple of days ago, im sur everyhing is fixed in corrctly, as when i put the power on, everything seems to star up, the fans, the motherboard, the hardrive, bu nohing comes on my monitor, it jst stays on standby. I am new to putting componens ino the case, bu I am sure I have everything in fin, as it all seems to be working except the bloody monitor output. It is really doing my head in.

I really hope somone can hlp me, as i really need this working.
 
Have you connected the CPU power connector and the Graphics card power connector?
Also try booting with just one stick of RAM. Can you connect a speaker to check for beep codes?
 
The ram was already installed so was the CPU. I am getting a red light on the board at the dram LED AND CPU LED, someones it swtiches between both. I am sure I have the power connected to the graphics card.
 
I checked the motherboard manual, and im sure its in the correct slots. But the main thing, is that the motherboard has led lights to show u if somethings wrong, and it keeps swithcing beween cpu and ram LED lights.

aLSO NOW THE MONITOR is saying check cable signal.
 
:S was it an overclocked bundle? maybe try to clear cmos. also do you have vga/hdmi/dvi cables to rule out cable/port problem?
 
Yes it was an OC bundle, i dont think i have a dvi or hdmi cable, im just using the cable with the blue colour on it, with another xtension thing so it fits on.. Ah this is doing my head in, i have so much work to do.
 
Also my keyboard is not coming on as well. Oh god i badly need help, ive spen like 2 days trying to figure this out, this is driving me crazy.
