I bought an Iiyama G-MASTER BLACK HAWK G2730HSU-B1 27" monitor in October. It is a nice little monitor with crisp clean display, I'm using it to work on 3D design for 3D printing. It is displaying from a Gigabyte RXT 2060 through the Display Port connection.
My normal practice when starting a PC is to first switch on the monitor then the PC however this does not work with this monitor. I have to switch on my PC, then switch the monitor on when the keyboard lights up and about seven times out of ten this works. When it doesn't I have to leave the PC to run for a while before powering it down by the On button. This is just a pain the the butt.
My thoughts are that the monitor is not staying live long enough to receive the Display Port signal. I am using a 3 metre cable, perhaps it's not fast enough (only joking).
I could change to the HDMI ports but would need to buy a cable.
Any help would be appreciated.
