the GPU came with some power cables i might have to try these rather than the ones that came with the power supply i guess its worth a go

I think they are molex to Pcie cables. Give them a go and see if you can get a display. If you do, then you could have a problem with your Psu.

'molex to Pcie' yeah that is what they are, i have no idea what do i will give them a call in a bit and see if there is anything they can do or suggest it may even be a really simple problem that i have done wrong or it could be faulty which is weird because its rare to get anything that is faulty.

Also do you think that it may be possible i read this somewhere that the motherboard may be set to sli and you have to flip the jumper to be able to use 1 gpu?

No, you enable sli/xfire in windows, not the bios.
For sli(Nvidia) enabled in the Nvidia Control panel.
For xfire(AMD) enabled in the AMD Catalyst center.

i found the problem, i called them up and for some reason they say they are not sure but the GPU doesnt work with the motherboard.

got any recommendations for a card that is equal spec that will Actually work with it lol.

I find that kind of ironic, that a GB 7950 does not work on a GB mobo.

Okay wanted to say thanks for all the help I have tried a different gpu now and all seems to be working fine either faulty gpu or they don't work together after the oc guy said they don't work I'm guna go with that
