Monitor not switching on when power up (mobo related)

Hi, i have an old DFI Lanparty NF2 mobo which the daughter is using, however, it's recently not powering the monitor on when i switch it on, i've deducted the GFX card from the equation by tring an old 9800 pro and the Geforce 6600GT that's currently in it.

Any suggestions / ideas?

just tried it again and monitor switched on and pc booted up, then straight away went into standby and won't wake up.

Did you diagnose this problem? I have 5 x64XP PC's all with the same issue, I've got one now going fine with no updates and ive not got the problem people have stated whats wrong with it (goes off randomly, have to reboot to get it to come back)
