Monitor on top of ps4?

Hey

Does anyone know if the ps4 will be ok with a monitor on top of it?

It has a fairly small base roughly 6 inch diameter which would fit nicely on the matt side of the ps4.

The base of the monitor can get quite warm as this is where the a/c adapter and other ports are, and it's not too heavy for it either.

is the ps4 ok with heat?

It's not going to do it any good if the base is hotter (PS4 will get hotter/have to pump more hot air out as a result, this could cause louder & faster fans.). However these machines are made for quite high temperature thresholds.

How have you gauged "too heavy for it" ?

yeah that was my fear, I CAN rearrange some things so it doesn't have too but it just looks nice

and takes up less room..

I rested it gently on it already but its only a 23" monitor.. ok I eyeballed it and it didn't crack soo..

I have my Xbox 360 on top of my PS4...

No issues at all and its a perfect fit.

Can't the ps4 stand upright. It might not break just I wouldn't bother risking it for it to "look nice" lol

Not really the PS4 sucks in from the sides and blows out the back. Nothing is restricted having the 360 sat on top of it. The fan is no louder than normal.
