Hello,

I am fairly certain this is a pretty stupid question but can HDMI support greater than 60hz or in my case 144hz, which my monitor can do? I have a new GTX1660 super and I am connecting to my AOC G2460 monitor. I would normally use a DVI cable to connect but my new graphics card doesn't have a DVI connection, only HDMI and DP.

I would really appreciate confirmation of this as I will need to buy another cable or adapter to get the 144hz, I only have a HDMI and DVI cable.

Do you have it set to 4k resolution? that might be the cause too as you can't run 4k above 60hz.

Page 47 of the instruction manual says the following display modes require a DVI cable

1920×1080@100Hz
1920×1080@110Hz
1920×1080@120Hz
1920×1080@144Hz

It's a 1080p monitor
