ok i'll take this story back abit ..... 2007 got hold of teh dell 2408 ...was stunned at the time as had hd-dvd ( still do ) , but was getting creamed in fps.
i also had a crt tv ..... now due to space problems my dad sort of forced me to make a choice ... so back then i got a panny 37 inch plams tv and got rid of said crt and dell 2408
few months later had blu ray media centre pc ..........fast forward to today .......
tv is annoying the hell out of me in playing ,y old favourite et ...from owning years ago tvs inout lag is just killing me ......but .....i want somethign new that wil be a good movie goer as well.
so i have a dilema ..........i want to downsize .. to 32" max... but if i had to make the ultimate choice i'd suppose it woudl be hi-def use ...but is there an option for my as a monitor ?
max budget will be £600 , but try aiming at £400
27" is a min as i sit a good 7 feet away 
or if not its 32" hd tv
