Monitor panels

Since i'm now getting a refund on my MJ tickets I've decided to donate the money to my new monitor fund as I feel it's what he would have wanted

For ages I've been looking at the Samsung P2370 as it looks awesome and the spec looked good. However I have since done some more research and found out what really matters is the panel and all the rest of the stats are less significant

Looking through the OcUK shop they don't mention in any of the monitor descriptions which panel they use.

Everyone is recommending the Dell 2209WA but it's fugly an every where's out of stock.

I'm looking for a monitor with IPS, around the 23" mark, £200-250 that I can use for gaming and films.

refunding MJ tickets??? Keep them as souvenirs, prolly sell them on ebay some day.

If you are looking for IPS in that price range, the Dell is your only option as far as I am aware. I don't know what you find unappealing about it - anyway its the beautiful panel that matters. They should be back in stock next week.

You can buy directly from Dell but they are more expensive with a 3 week wait for delivery. If you check around there are a few sites saying they are getting stock next week so there might be a few in the country

I doubt they will be worth much as there were 50 dates which would mean a few million tickets.

750,000 tickets and what's stopping AEG selling the rest of the tickets as souvenirs to the general public.

What other IPS monitors are good if price wasn't an option ?

This is the monitor you are looking for. There are more expensive ones, but this has one of the nicest panels around.

When did they get stocked at OcUK again?!

Been waiting for them to appear on OcUK so I can buy one as I was hugely disappointed by the VA NEC screen.

Does the Dell UltraSharp 2209WA not do 70/75hz at 1680 X 1050?

Optimal Resolution: 1680 X 1050 at 60 Hz

LCD screens run @ 60hz optimal where as CRT run at 72hz

Is the HP monitor worth twice the price of the Dell ?
